Just make sure that the modded file and the original file aren't both named "Assembly-CSharp.dll" because if you do the game won't open it freaked me out a little when it happened to me but it was an easy fix. I haven't turned the mod off yet, but since it just involves reverting the names of the files back I assume it works fine.
The text file has step-by-step instructions for installing the mod on Windows and Mac.īasically you copy "Assembly-CSharp-invulnerable-1432.dll" to Hollow Knight's installation folder (the folder's full name is given in the instructions).There's a file already there called Assembly-CSharp if you change the modded file's name to that, and the original to something different, the mod runs when you open the game. When you actually download the mod it contains two files: one is called "Assembly-CSharp-invulnerable-1432.dll" and the other is called "README.txt" I followed the first guide I found to downpatch from 1.5 to 1.4 through Steam so the mod would be compatible:
